We usually come to this passage – and most passages – trying to discover what it says about us and what we should do about it. This passage certainly has something to say about us and to us (we’ll look at that next week), but what is most important is what it says about Jesus. What does it mean that Jesus is the “true vine”? Probably more than we’ve realized.
Until we understand what this passage means about Jesus, will never understand what it means for us!
